The North American Poolshooters Association (NAPA)

Founded in 2009, The North American Poolshooters Association (NAPA) is the third largest and number one fastest growing pool league in the United States and Canada. The focus of NAPA is to provide a unique and competitive playing ground for pool shooters across North America.

NAPA does not currently, and will never in the future, charge its players for membership.

Rewarding pool shooters is a key focus in the NAPA. NAPA, therefor, operates under a unique program that pays out at least 50% of all league dues to players at the end of every session. Total cash prizes are determined by the size and format of each league division.

NAPA maintains detailed stats on every game played for the lifetime of the player. Every NAPA player has a profile page on the NAPA web site and can view their stats online at anytime. Player stats are updated in real time as each match's outcome is entered into the system. Some examples of stats that are stored are overall match record, win percentage, success rate against women, success rate against men, average points per match, break and runs, shutouts, and much more!

NAPA offers league play for 8-ball, 9-ball and 10-ball in each of three league formats; 3, 4, and 5-matches per night. In all of these formats players participate on a team with other players and compete for top positions within their local division. All players on the first place team qualify for NAPA's national championship (without the need to compete in regional playoffs).

NAPA provides a local ranking as well as a national ranking for all of its players. Rankings are determined by the player's skill level, average points per match, and win percentage.

NAPA holds a yearly singles championship for all qualified NAPA players. The NAPA Nationals is a championship tournament that defines the best NAPA players from North America in each skill level class. All NAPA players qualify for the NAPA Nationals directly from their home town without having to play in regional events.
